Why I Love Autumn #Blogtober18
I love Autumn for many reasons but the main one is because it means Christmas isn’t too far away! Below are 5 more reasons why this is my second favourite season. My first is Winter because, you know, Christmas!
5 Reasons Why I Love Autumn
Colour – I really don’t think this needs an explanation. Summer flowers are pretty but they don’t have a patch on the wonderful browns, oranges, reds and yellows of Autumn leaves.
Comfort Food – This time of year calls for fresh bread straight from the oven dipped into a thick stew or fluffy mash on a cottage pie followed by sticky toffee pudding and hot custard. Delicious!
Chunky Jumpers & Cardigans – I have a long woollen housecoat that I’ve had for quite a few years now. When I start to get cold, it warms me up really fast and makes me feel all snuggly. The arms are a bit long but it’s better that way because I can keep my hands warm 🙂
Cosy Nights In – I wrote about this just yesterday! The only reason I like Winter more than Autumn for cosy nights in is because of the pretty Christmas lights!
Crisp Autumn Air – I’m not a very outdoorsy person but I do enjoy walking in the Autumn woods, all wrapped up with my scarf and gloves and smelling the crisp Autumn air.

Autumn is the best season by far! I can’t help but smile at all the colours, sounds (crunchy leaves), smells, (bonfires etc). And the food is also epic! Bring on the Fire Baked Potatoes & the black peas! #blogtober18
