Photo Challenge fail….but going for it again!

I missed a lot of April. I was so busy with the new kitchen and stuff that I just gave up.

I’ve started again though and will take my year from April 28th instead of January 1st! ๐Ÿ™‚

April 28th – Can you believe these are the flowers the kids bought me for Mother’s Day? I took off the dead flowers and was left with all these. They must be the longest lasting flowers I’ve ever had! It’s May 3rd today (Mother’s day was on March 15th in the UK) and they’re still going strong! They’re from Asda in case anyone was wondering ๐Ÿ™‚

April 29th – It was our wedding anniversary the following day and Kaycee wanted to make something special for dessert. Here she is mixing up the cake batter.

April 30th – Our wedding anniversary special pudding….a gorgeous knickerbocker glory. Unfortunately we forgot that Ant wasn’t going to be here for dinner because he took his mum to the hotel she was staying at the night before she flew to Canada to visit her sister and he didn’t get back till around 11 that night. Kaycee was a bit upset but soon cheered up when I said she could make them again on bank holiday Monday ๐Ÿ™‚

May 1st – Absolutely love my apple tree ๐Ÿ™‚

April 2nd – I found these a few weeks ago when we were sorting through the attic boxes. I fell in love with them and knew I had to have them in my new kitchen ๐Ÿ™‚

It's never too late to start on a new 365 project! The blossom on the apple tree looks fantastic, hopefully you'll get a reasonable quantity of fruit from it.
