Top 3 Scary Movies
I love scary movies but I can’t watch them alone because I’m unable to go to bed afterwards! Ant’s not really a fan of them but he’ll watch them with me so he’s there to go upstairs with me when the movie is finished!
Scary Movies – Number 3…
I remember seeing my first scary movie when I was about 14 I think. It was A Nightmare on Elm Street and we had it on video. It was on the highest shelf which meant I wasn’t allowed to watch it. I had some friends around one afternoon while my parents were out. We decided to close the curtains and watch the scary movie!
We all acted cool and like it didn’t scare us but really, it terrified us. Whenever I hear children singing in the background on a movie it reminds me of A Nightmare on Elm Street and gives me chills!
The kids at school used to sing the Freddy song and I still don’t like hearing it:
One, two, Freddy’s coming for you.
Three, four, Better lock your door
Five, six, grab a crucifix.
Seven, eight, Gonna stay up late.
Nine, ten, Never sleep again….
Number 2 – Poltergeist
My second choice has to be Poltergeist. It still scares me now, both the original and the remake!
Number 1 – The Entity
I don’t remember how old I was when I watched The Entity but I remember it scared me more than anything else I’d ever watched. It’s been years since I’ve seen it so I don’t know how I’d feel watching now but at the time, it stayed with me for weeks. I couldn’t stop thinking about it when the lights were off!
If you haven’t heard of or seen The Entity, please be warned it’s about a woman who gets raped by some kind of entity.
