I couldn’t not join in on ‘The Christmas Tag’ that I saw drop into my inbox tonight from PooleMamma’s blog 🙂
Here are my answers and if you’d like to join in, I’d love for you to leave me a link to your post in the comments so I can come and learn a little about your favourite things at Christmas.
Use #ChristmasTag when you share your answers on Twitter 🙂
1. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?
I don’t have one favourite thing, I love everything about it! I love the build up, the preparation, the smell of the decorations when you get the boxes from the loft, the food and drink (I hardly drink throughout the year but I love my Baileys and snowballs at Christmas!) the look on the children’s faces when they get the one present they’ve really wanted, the music and everything else you can think of 🙂
2. What is your favourite make-up look for the festive season?
I don’t own makeup so I can’t really answer this question.
3.Real or fake tree?
I’ve never had a real tree but we’re having one this year and for some reason, I’m stupidly excited about it!
4. Giving or receiving presents?
I love thinking of the perfect presents I know the recipient will adore but I also love receiving them because my family always spoil me with such wonderful gifts 🙂
5. Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?
In the very early morning!
6. Handmade or shop bought Christmas cards?
It depends on the time available. I made some Forever Friends
cards a few years ago and the girls made loads last year but if we run out of time we get a bumper pack. I get the girls to write them now they can both write well enough for everyone to be able to read their writing. It saves me having to do it and they love it!
7.Favourite Christmas film?
I have 3 films that I have to watch every year, without fail. The first is, It’s a Wonderful Life, the second is, One Magic Christmas and the third is, The Night They Saved Christmas.
8.Favourite Christmas food?
Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.
9.Favourite Christmas gift?
As a child, I remember falling in love with a baby doll I got when I was about 5 I think. It was in a big pink box and it had a pink dress on. It was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen.
As an adult, I think my best Christmas was when I got a Tassimo and a Kindle
and so many other lovely gifts. They were the two things I’d wanted for months and my wonderful husband bought them for me 🙂
10. What tops your tree?
An angel but I’ve been looking at a lovely Santa one I’ve seen in Poundstretcher!
