Weekly weigh in – Stayed the same

Well after last Wednesday’s overindulgence due to feeling rubbish about my gain, I stayed the same this week.

I’ve been totally on track today, no treats at all (I didn’t buy anything on purpose so I couldn’t be tempted) and everything I have had has been counted in my syns.
I’ve saved some syns so I can have a latte tonight with a scone and some strawberry jam.

I’m feeling much better this week and think my head is finally in the right place again. I feel like it’s my first week again and I’m not at all tempted to pop things into my mouth and think, ‘it’s only a little bit, it won’t hurt’ because I know it will.

Here’s to a loss, any loss, next week! 🙂

You go for it! A week or two where you don't lose anything is normal, I'm sure.

Diets are a headf**k aren't they? Stay strong – I found plenty of positive reinforcement helped – keep trying on clothes you're slimming into to stay motivated and show you how well you're doing. Visualisation techniques (as used by Olympic athletes) are supposed to be very effective too.

I've been eating all that I should not and now I'm totally bloated. Sometimes it just seems impossible to be able to make it. But then we just need to start everything anew.

I agree not putting anything on this week is really good. I am sure we are meant to eat more and sleep more when it gets colder so you are doing incredible.

Staying the same is better than putting some on. Stick at the journey and see staying the same as a small victory! Good for you 🙂

Its hard always to stick to a strict diet and occasionally we cheat but thats ok as long as you don't do it too often. Good luck with the weight loss.

Well done shell for maintaining and getting to grips with it again. Next week you should see a loss!!! I put on a stone and ahalf since I gave up smoking last stoptober, I weighted myself in jan to start diet and since jan have only put on. So for stoptober this year I used some of my 2500 saved to paid 250 for a year in a leisure centre in hotel. It's not new, huge but it does have a small gym, classes and pool plus spa

Well done for staying off the cigs Sharon, that's brilliant 🙂 What a great way to use some of the money you saved as well. Good luck with your journey. Mine's taking longer than I anticipated but I'm still on it and that's the main thing 😀 xx
