Macro Monday
Well after getting excited about finding the Macro Monday linky, I failed to join in every week so today, I went outside to take a photo and I ended up taking about 10 because I just couldn’t stop!
I figure I’m making up for all the missed weeks!
I’m loving the spring garden and finding new things growing every time I go outside. It’s really exciting to see things coming back to life and makes me feel like I’m not as a rubbish a gardener as I thought I was 🙂
Oriental lilies – These were gorgeous last year and I’m so pleased to see them coming through again 🙂 |
First daffs – about time! |
My favourite shade loving plant has to be Bleeding Heart. I just love them and can’t wait to be able to split them in the autumn so I can double the amount and have them all over the garden 🙂 |
I have no idea what this is and hadn’t even noticed it growing. I’m assuming it’s a weed because I haven’t planted it but it’s lovely and I’m leaving it! |
I didn’t plant this either and there’s only one of them but it reminds me of my childhood and I’m planning on planting some more 🙂 |
Oh some lovely flowers there! I have no clue what any of these are can't wait to see how they develop over the summer xx
Bleeding hearts are one of my favorites as well.
Your unknown purple plant is a wild violet. They are everywhere in my yard at the moment.
Lovely shots of emerging spring!
It's great finding out what the plants are and I thank you for your help 🙂 I hope our wild violet spreads along the fence bottom, it'll look lovely 🙂
Lovely photos.
Thank you 🙂
Superb photos – love those violet-coloured flowers!
