88 / 365 – Granny’s taking care of George

Christmas 2010 brought us some new family members; three fish, one for each child, from their sister, Kellyann. I know it sounds terrible but for the life of me, I can’t remember any of the names of those short lived family members!
I say short lived because unfortunately, 2 of the fish died not long after Christmas but the third one had 6 babies, before she also died 🙁 It was a sad time for Ella because the mummy fish was hers and she thought it was brilliant that her fish had had babies.
She was even more sad when for some reason, unknown to us, 5 of the babies died leaving us with George.
He’s a year old now and still going strong. Ant takes care of him usually but just lately he’s had a little help from Granny.

We’ve not been anywhere worth photographing recently so Granny has been left looking after George; she loves to watch him swim round and round and round and, well, you get the picture!
I’m sure George likes Granny being there just as much as she likes being there and I know they’ve become the best of friends 🙂

I was talking with George (short for Georgina!) and she said she loved having Granny Woodentop to stay.

Don't be shy, come and talk to me! :o)
