Magic Moments

It’s hard to choose just one magic moment. How do you choose between each of your children being born or the day you married the man you adored?

I thought long and hard and picked a different magic moment.

It was a cold, windy day in October last year. We took off our shoes to let our toes sink into the sand and none of us cared that the sea was freezing. We laughed and squealed as we tried to avoid each new wave, colder than the last!
For some reason, unknown to us, there were loads of starfish on the beach and the children thought they were brilliant.

We collected shells and searched for crabs, (so the girls could run away and scream when they saw them!) we walked what seemed like miles and enjoyed every second of it.
Spending a whole afternoon together, on a beach in the middle of October doesn’t sound like it would be so great but spending all that time with three wonderful children….

and an equally wonderful husband (haven’t got a picture of Ant on the beach for some reason) was one of my magic moments.

I’m looking forward to our seaside holiday in October this year and will treasure more magic moments 🙂
