Slimming World Monthly Weigh In Results Update

Well, let’s see how I’ve done at Slimming World this month!

Weight on 31st May – 24 stone 7lb

7th June – 2.5lb loss
14th June – 1lb gain
21st June – 1.5lb gain
28th June – 1lb gain

Weight on 28th June – 24 stone 8lb


I haven’t been great this month, as you can see. The gains came from Sunday lunches that included dessert. We had my mother and father in law over for dinner one Sunday then the following Sunday was Father’s Day.
The week after wasn’t down to any one particular day, I had a bad week. I wasn’t on plan and had some weight gain because of it. Totally my fault but I’m back on it.

I’m writing everything down this week and even though we have a BBQ planned for Sunday, I’ve bought low syn sausages for me. I’m going to make my own burgers and I’m going to have salad instead of bread.

I’ve decided to do one post a month with my monthly weight loss results. I found myself saying the same thing over and over every Wednesday. I figured I’d just say it once a month instead!

So here are my results for May

Weight at start of the month – 24 stone 3.5 lbs
Weight at the end of the month – 24 stone 7lbs

Weekly results

3rd May ~ On Holiday
10th May ~  +5.5 lbs Holiday Gain!
17th May ~  -4lbs
24th May ~ +1.5lbs
31st May ~ +0.5lb

Well, I didn’t do very well last month, did I?! Oh well, as always I’ll keep on trying. My aim for June is to lose 8lb so I’m back in the 23 stone category again.

Got away with a small gain!

After all the chocolate I consumed before Easter (we had Easter early!) I wasn’t expecting such a small gain. I was very happy with only gaining half a pound!

I dodged a bullet but to be sure I’m going to be 100% on plan this week. I’ve used the ‘100 Extra Easy Days’ Slimming World book to plan my meals for the week. It gives you 100 breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. You can mix and match if you like but I’ve stuck the menus as they are.

I’m going to keep my syns under 20 and use the majority of them on my meals rather than sweet treats.

I want to lose 4lb next week so I can get down to the next stone bracket.

It was an expected gain when I weighed at Slimming World so I didn’t mind it. It was also a bit less than I was expecting as well so it was even more ok!

I didn’t stay to Image Therapy because we had plans with the girls. It was the school holidays and we decided to have an early Easter. The girls were away for the Easter weekend at Butlins with my best friend. After I’d finished doing the weighing at SW, we nipped to Asda and bought some party food for lunch then had a Sunday dinner at night.

I treated myself to some hot cross buns and chocolate. It meant I’d have to reduce my food intake for the rest of the week but it was worth it. We had a lovely early Easter!

Good weight loss week – I was very happy with my 3lb loss last week. I was aiming for 4lb but I kept feeling a bit snacky towards the end of the week and whilst I didn’t snack on high syn foods, I didn’t make the best choices either.

7 stone award

I’m looking forward to getting out of the 24 stone category at my next weigh in.  I got my 7 stone award back which I haven’t had since before Christmas. I just need to lose 6lb to get my 7 and a half stone award back 🙂

I had a really lovely Mother’s Day and it was worth the 1 and a half pound weight gain I got when I weighed at Slimming World last Wednesday.

I was actually quite pleased because I thought it was going to be a much higher gain!

It was good being able to stay for the full session last week. I’ve been having to leave early so I could nip to Asda. I do my weekly shop at Tesco. However, just lately a lot of the things I usually buy have been on offer at Asda. Staying to Image Therapy is very important because it really helps get me in the right frame of mind to have another good week.

I pledged to lose 4lb and while I do feel I’ve been on track all week, I don’t think I’ll get 4lb off. I’ve done my menu for the week ahead. I’m dropping my syns to 15 to see if it helps.

10lb is the amount I need to lose to get my 7 and a half stone award back and I want to get it back before I go on holiday at the end of the month 🙂


2-Pound Loss – Weekly Weigh In

2-Pound Loss

I was very happy with my 2-pound loss last week. I’ll be happy with a steady 2-pound a week loss if I can keep it up.
Ant made a delicious roast beef and Yorkshire pudding Sunday Lunch as it was Mother’s Day.
We invited Nanny for dinner and I made a wonderfully gooey chocolate caramel and Bailey’s trifle.

It wasn’t Slimming World friendly, at all! I plan to be on track until Sunday then cut right back on Monday and Tuesday to try and minimise the damage.

I’ll let you know if it works, next week!

Ant and I go on holiday on the 29th of April. It’s our 12th wedding anniversary on the 30th and we’ve got some lovely meals planned. I know I’m going to gain weight that week but I don’t mind. I’m going to enjoy spending time with my husband 🙂

I’ve got 5 weigh in days until we go so a steady 2 pounds a week weight loss will mean I’ll have my 7 and a half stone weight loss award back :oD

3.5 Pound Loss

I didn’t post a weekly weigh in last week as I’ve decided to post my results a week later. I kept forgetting, till late on Wednesdays, to do my update post. I try to stay off the computer in the evening so I can spend time with Ant and I didn’t like having to blog late in the evening.

Doing it a week later means I can schedule it and forget about it 🙂

So, last week, I stuck to plan all week and I lost 3.5lb. I was hoping for more (never satisfied!) but I’m happy with my result.

I’m pledging to lose the same again next week. I’m trying really hard to get out of the 24 stone bracket.

Just a quickie tonight because it’s late. I forgot to post earlier because I’ve been busy working on my old recipe posts. I’ve been updating the SEO and the images. I’m in the process of making better images so they stand out better on Pinterest.

I was expecting a gain at my Slimming World class this week because I’ve not been great at sticking to plan! I’m going to be better this week 🙂

The greatest loser award was given out today and we were all really happy to see Nicky win it with an 8 stone 5.5lb loss :oD



Didn’t lose – Slimming World Weekly Weigh In

Didn’t lose

I’ve had a good week but I didn’t lose any weight this week. I was ill for most of the week which could be the reason so I’m not upset about it.

Next week the greatest loser will be awarded. I won it in 2015 and 2016 but this year a lovely lady will be getting the award. I’m really pleased for her because she’s done brilliantly. She’ll be getting her 8.5 stone award. It’s been a couple of years since I got my 8.5 stone award and currently, I only have my 6.5 stone award as I’m still struggling to lose the weight I put back in November and December last year.

I’ll be getting it back next year though because she’s nearly at target and I still have lots of stones to get rid of! Haha 🙂
