End Of An Era

Short post tonight. It’s late and I’m tired, as usual!
It’s the end of an era for our family; no more Papermoon Nursery. Here are a few photos of KayCee’s and Ella’s craft project for the girls at Papermoon day nursery.
They were really pleased with the frame and the tissue paper flowers we made.
Ella loved giving the flowers out and was smiling when she told me how much everyone liked them 🙂

She didn’t stay all day because her other nursery had a party for all the children who were moving up to reception class in September.

KayCee looked really sad when she got home from school. When she tried to tell me what was wrong, she couldn’t stop herself from crying.
I eventually found out that her teacher, who’s she had for most of her time at this school, is leaving to work at a different school.
She started in the middle of KayCee’s previous year when her first teacher got too ill to work anymore and KayCee took to her straight away. She was really pleased to be staying in her class this year and I’m sure she thought she’d be with her next year as well!
I think it’ll take a little while for KayCee to get over the loss but she was happy when she saw the card and bookmark that her teacher had made for her. She said, “at least I’ve got something to remember her by”.
