Happy New Year And Looking Back At 2018

So here we are at the start of another new year. I’ve been thinking about making some New Year’s resolutions, but I very rarely stick to them so I’m probably going to give them a miss this year, again!

As usual, I’ve been looking back through my blog and picked a favourite post from each month of 2018.

A Look Back

At this time of year, I like to have a look back over the previous year on my blog and pick a favourite post from each month.

The girls loved making home-made butter. It tasted delicious but it was hard work!

Happy New Year and a look back at 2013

I spent new year’s eve with Ant, at home, watching tv and feeling absolutely awful due to this horrible cold we’re both suffering from. We were in bed before 12 because we just didn’t have the energy to stay up any longer!
However, 2013 was a great year for us and 2014 has the promise of being even better 😀
January 2013
It was cold January here in Lincoln UK
The kids look so young here! This was taken for the photo prompt of the day which was Makes you happy
My lovely boy hit his teen years 🙂
The S.W.H. and I spent a wonderful weekend together in Portsmouth where we celebrated being together for 10 years 🙂
Ella loved to pose when I got the camera out!.
I found Kaycee’s rules to be a princess and thought they were adorable!
We got to spend some time with our gorgeous grandsons 😀
I got a brand new cooker 😀
We had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall
My lovely father in law turned 80
We’re moving!! 😀
We’re excited and impatient and can’t wait to find out the completion date!
You know how I always want to re-organise and re-decorate when the new year comes around? Well I’ve got the ultimate re-organising and re-decorating project I could wish to have at this time of year! I’m de-cluttering (shhh don’t tell Ant, he doesn’t like it when I say that!) and sorting and even though I’m feeling rubbish and this cold has dampened my spirits occasionally, it can’t extinguish the excitement totally 🙂
I can’t wait to share our own photos of our new house 🙂
Happy new year and thank you to everyone who has stopped by this past year. I truly appreciate all the support from everyone.
