Cupcakes and board games

The activity planned for yesterday was board games. We were going to play Harry Potter Scene It but KayCee and Ella spent the day outside, playing with their friend, Savannah and Aiden spent the day between the tv and the pc. He did go and call for his friend in the afternoon but he wasn’t in.
He helped Ella for a while on the pc in the afternoon and from all the noise coming from kitchen, they had a nice time together ๐Ÿ™‚

Today’s activity was cupcake baking but only if the girls didn’t go to Nanny and Jack’s. They’ve just left and this time they’ve remembered Nanny’s birthday presents!
Aiden’s going to spend the day with Grandad and I’m going to spend the day getting the school clothes labelled and ironed *insert groan here* and maybe sort the girl’s bedroom if I have time. They’ve been making a den to sleep in and it’s as messy as it was the week when it took me ages to sort out. The whole floor is covered in stuff and the toy boxes are empty. I’m not looking forward to it.

The plans for the weekend have changed. The kids are going to Derbyshire tomorrow night so the activities for tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday will have to be packed into one day or saved for the next weekend they stay home.
Aiden and I really want to do his crime scene kit so KayCee and Ella can play outside with Savannah and I’ll give them a list of things to find and photograph.

We’ll just go with the flow for the rest of the day ๐Ÿ™‚
