First Time Joining In With The #LittleLoves Linky
I’d not heard of the Little Loves linky until yesterday when I saw it on Mama, Mummy, Mum. I join in the Read With Me linky on there every Monday and noticed Chantelle’s Little Loves post.
I love the idea of it and decided to join in whenever I can 🙂
The idea is that you look back over the week and write down the little things that you’ve loved. Things you’ve read, heard, watched, made and wore as well as any miscellaneous subject you’d like to include. I’m leaving out Wore because I’m not into clothes/makeup/lotions etc so I really won’t have anything to write about!
First Little Loves Post
I started reading Harlen Coben’s The Stranger on Thursday night and finished Sunday morning. I really enjoyed it and have written a review that will be published later this month.
I read a blog post titled Is Blogging making Me Unhappy? which I totally could have written. I was going to leave a comment saying I totally get how you’re feeling but I couldn’t stop there. I ended up nearly writing an essay!
I’ve had the Friends box set on my Amazon wishlist for about 7 years. Friends has been my favourite TV show since I saw the first episode being aired while I was in America. For Christmas last year I was delighted when I opened a present from KayCee and it was the box set 🙂
A few days later Ant showed me a website that said Netflix was going to be showing all 10 seasons! I couldn’t believe it! For years I’d been wanting to watch all the seasons again from the very first episode and I figured getting the box set would be the only way.
The box set is probably going to sit on the shelf forever now, never to be used because it’s easier to put Netflix on than to get the DVDs out of the box!
I’ve been doing some early spring cleaning, trying to get the house back to normal after Christmas and to help the job along, I’ve been listening to my new Nashville CDs and a new soft rock cd that I had for Christmas.
Soups have been my go to lunch this month and I’ve been trying different Slimming World recipes so I don’t get bored.
My favourite so far has been a pea and mint soup.
I found a new hobby last year called Diamond Painting and this week I made a Bambi picture for KayCee.
It’s a little like paint by numbers and a bit like cross stitch.
I promised myself I would get more exercise this year but so far it’s not going well. I found a video on YouTube that I figured I could find time to fit in every day as it was only 15 minutes long. It’s a video to help you walk a mile while staying at home.
Exercise is hard for me because of my weight (26 stone) and I didn’t think I was going to be able to complete the full video but I managed it the first time and was very proud of myself.
I’ve only done it once more since the first time but not because I don’t want to, it’s because I’ve not been feeling the greatest. I’ve either had a headache or been feeling sick and dizzy.
Hopefully, I’ll be all better soon and I can start doing it once a day or more if I have the time 🙂
