If I won the lottery

I’m taking part in #Blogtober16. It’s a post every day during October with a different theme. Today I’m daydreaming about winning the lottery!

If we won the lottery, we wouldn’t bother with all the hassle of moving house, we’d make alterations to this one to make our dream house.
We’d turn our small kitchen into a kitchen diner. Ant’s garage would be turned into a proper room with fitted storage for his office. He’d like a bedroom with a balcony so that could go above his office and I’d like a separate utility room and old-fashioned pantry.

We’d get someone in to design the garden and do all the work to get it looking wonderful.

I’d have driving lessons and finally, pass my test! Ant would have a new car and we’d buy a static caravan so we could spend weekends at the beach.

We’d have a girly trip to New York at Christmas, (we’re planning this anyway but it’s going to take a couple of years to save up) so we could see the big Christmas tree at Rockefeller Centre.

Who wins after every lottery draw? The taxman does, of course! US lotteries generally only pay out 60% of the money players bet sometimes. But it depends. So its very important to know how does paying taxes on lottery winnings work.

Apart from all the above, which would be great, do you know what one of the best things about winning the lottery for me would be? Doing a weekly shop without a budget! Being able to afford to try new recipes every day and not having to buy the cheapest cuts of meat. That would be wonderful 🙂
