We found the Gruffalo!

As part of our Summer Bucket list, we wanted to go on a Gruffalo Trail.

We spent a really lovely afternoon at Sherwood Pines. It costs £4 for all day parking and you needn’t spend any more money after that. There are lots of free play areas including a huge wooden climbing area.

There’s an area for building shelters out of logs, a sand pit, wooden playhouses and lots more. We didn’t explore the whole place so I’m sure there was more to discover.

You can also ‘Go Ape‘ at Sherwood Pines and Ella really wanted to take part, but unfortunately, she’s too young.

We’ll definitely be going back to Sherwood Pines 🙂

This post is very photo heavy.

Looks like a great day out. I've seen a few people recommending it. Mentally filing away for next time we're in the country.
