Listography – Top 5 Christmas Songs

This listography is totally unfair as I like far too many Christmas songs to choose just 5!!
I’ve been getting myself lost on YouTube for the last hour trying to decide which songs are my favourite and I finally decided to choose songs by classic singers to make it a little easier!
My mum used to listen to Bing Crosby, Andy Williams & Frank Sinatra, among others (probably still does) while putting up our Christmas decorations when I was younger so all those singers bring back lovely memories for me.

1) Andy Williams – It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

2) Johnny Mathis – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

3) Dean Martin – Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow

4) Bing Crosby – Winter Wonderland

5) Nat King Cole – The Christmas Song

Maybe that should be next weeks listography, pinkoddy!

They are amazing choices. Might have been easier to find 5 songs we don't like

It is actually a brilliant theme Alma and I LOVED creating my list 🙂 It made me think about the Christmas songs I really love and not just those that I like.
I loved it so much, I've got a delivery from amazon on it's way, bringing me a new cd called, Legends – The Classic collection and I can't wait for it to be delivered 😀
Thanks for stopping by and for hosting such a great listography 🙂 xx

Tell me about it!! When I suggested the theme to Kate, I had no idea it was going to be this difficult! Even after I posted my list I remember so many other songs and thought about editing my list, but I knew I would go down a never-ending path of editing and reediting so left it as it was haha! Great list choices – full of classics I love! Thanks for sharing x

It's worth a try Carolin….I also love snow at Christmas and got really excited this morning when I saw that we'd had a tiny dusting of it in the night. It was quickly washed away by the rain but at least it gave me hope that we could get more soon!

Thanks for stopping by 🙂 xx

Oh do you think it'll snow, if I sing Dean Martin's song for long enough? I'd love to have snow for Christmas…

@ Jennie, I have the same hope for my children too 🙂 I'll be ordering some more cds from Amazon very soon!

@ The Rambling Pages, Let it snow got stuck in my head for a while after doing this list earlier! It must just be one of those songs!

@ Mummy mishaps, I'm the same. I can't think of any Christmas songs I don't like but I'm sure there must be some.

Thank you to everyone for stopping by. I hope to get chance to read everyone's lists tomorrow when the kids are back at school 🙂 xx

Awww these are brilliant song choices. Mine are more modern but I love the old classic Christmas tunes. In fact I just love Christmas songs full stop 🙂

This is the kind of music I love to listen to at Christmas. My Spotify list has all of these great classics. They truly bring out the spirit of Christmas. I hope that my children will learn to love these wonderful songs as much as I do. Great list x
