5 Super Cool Things Where I Live #Blogtober16
Where I live
I’ve lived in Lincoln for about 13 years and I have to admit, apart from knowing we have a cathedral and a castle, I don’t know much else about the place! I’m sure there must be another 3 cool things I can think of!
- Lincoln cathedral – the foundations were laid in 1088. It is the third largest cathedral in Britain (in floor area) after St Paul’s and York minster.
- Lincoln Castle – It is one of only 2 castles in the country that has 2 mottes. It’s one of the most impressive Norman castles in the UK.
- We have the wonderful Red Arrows and I can sometimes see them practising while I’m in the garden:)
- Daisy Made ice cream is delicious!
- Our Christmas Market is visited by people from all over the world. This year it’s on from the 1st December to the 4th December
I’m taking part in #Blogtober16. It’s a post every day during October with a different prompt. Tomorrow you can find out what I’m afraid of.
