May Bucket List
May Bucket List
It’s May.
It’s nearly summer and I still haven’t got any part of the garden done! I really do have to stop putting it off now.
Let’s see how I did with the rest of my April bucket list…
Finish updating the blog!
Well. I didn’t finish the updates I still had to do. Instead, I picked a new theme that didn’t need a certain sized feature image!
I do still have about 1000 posts to edit and put into categories, though!
Get the new flooring down in the kitchen (well, Ant will be putting it down but I’ll be helping move everything out before he can start!)
Nope, didn’t happen. It took nearly all month to get the first part of the stairs done. We wouldn’t have coped with the upheaval of the kitchen at the same time.
Finish the stairs (Ant will be doing that as well!). I really can’t wait to see how it’s going to look 🙂
The first half of the stairs are finished and I LOVE them
Start reading the Harry Potter series again. We watched all the movies over the Easter weekend and it’s made me want to read all the books again. I’d just started another book for April though so I have to finish this one first.
I did intend to start book one but when it came down to it, I looked at the whole bookcase full of unread books that I want to read and I decided I should be spending my reading time reading new books first. I’ve read 4 books in April and I’ve only got 1 book to complete the reading challenge I set for myself for the year, on Goodreads!
My bucket list for May:
- Seriously work on the garden.
- Get all my blog posts into categories
- Get the flooring down in the kitchen
- Help Kaycee and Ella get their blog, Flourish & Blossom set up so they can start blogging regularly. They’ve had blogs in the past but never really kept up with them. They’ve both shown an interest in photography so I think they’re going to focus on that 🙂
I love the new look. It can be so laborious sorting into categories though can’t it? Good luck at getting the floor down. I got some of the Harry Potter books for Charlie but I may pinch them!
Thanks for linking again xxx
Wow what a busy month you have coming! I have been saying I need to sort my categories out for years
Good luck with your bucket list, I hope you manage to complete it
I love your stairs, they look great! We saw loads of tadpoles in a pond when we went for a walk last weekend and I’m thinking about collecting some to put in a tank for the kids to watch grow.
The garden is top of my bucket list too – we did manage to finish building the shed but that is as far as we have got
Sounds like you’ve got a busy month ahead 😉
I don’t think my to do list would fit in one blog post lol
I envy you so much having a partner who likes to renovate the house – I want to paint and wallpaper and my husband is having none of it… I love your tadpoles! I want to have some next year, my boys would love it I think!
