Project 365 – January 4th-9th

January 4th -A very frosty night gave me chance to check out the macro setting on my new camera 🙂

January 4th - ice on flowers - macro setting

January 5th – A new board game and one that we all really enjoyed. I’m not going to groan inwardly anymore when one of them asks me if I’ll play a board game with them!

Playing tension

January 6th – Kaycee loves Pointless so I got her the board game for Christmas. We tried to play as individuals but it was too hard for the girls so we’re going to need daddy to play so we can have teams and the girls can work with an adult.

Playing Pointless

January 7th – Our Spirograph finally came that we got for running the giveaway last month and as expected, the girls love it 🙂

January 8th – The girls spent a rare few minutes not arguing! They’re reading books together 🙂

Kaycee and Ella reading books

January 9th – I’ve joined in with a free 52 week photography course and this is the photo I took for the prompt, Vintage.

A very old book

We used to have lots of board games when I was young and also for our two boys.
We used to have Spirograph too, spent many hours making pictures.

    hello 🙂
some lovely photos this week – the first shot showing the frost is great! Looks like you have really got to grips with your macro lens.

Fantastic shots, I can never find my girls together like that, they argue way too much.
Love the frost and vintage photos.

never managed to bother long enough with pointless to work out what it is actually about, the game does nothing for me.
I love playing board games with the grandkids, and did with my own kids as well.
Thats a great macro pic, love the opportunities frost offers a photographer.
My older 2 daughters always argued as well.

I love your photos – well done! I love watching Pointless – so much more fun to watch that Anne Robinson's Weakest Link and the boardgame looks great! Good luck with your course!

I am so going to enjoy your updates. We adore Pointless but didn't get on with the board game so well. We enjoyed that Spirograph too and I love mad scientist pictures! Hurrah for the girls reading together so beautifully. I was brought up as a Methodist – so fascinating to see your vintage picture!

We're hoping they bring out a children's version because the questions on this one are too hard for the girls.
