How does your garden grow? July 24th #HDYGG?

HDYGG? – July 24th

July 24th – I went outside with the intention of taking photos of the garden for this week’s HDYGG? post. I got distracted by the girls playing in the paddling pool so I only managed 2 garden photos. It kind of turned into a Country Kids post!

A buddleia is growing in amongst the weeds at the top of the garden. At first, I thought I must have planted the one that got damaged in the move but it’s growing up between the stones where the other greenhouse used to be so I know I didn’t plant anything there.

I’ll be re-homing it when we do the garden because it’s in the place where the pond is going to go.

After the buddleia, I noticed the sweet peas had actually grown and what was even more exciting, they had flowers on! These are the first sweet peas I’ve ever grown so I’m really happy with them ๐Ÿ™‚

I was going to take some photos of the hydrangea plants next. That’s when the girls distracted me!

They spent ages playing out in the pool and the tent as it was such a hot day. It was so lovely to sit in the shade and watch them playing nicely together.

I adore sweet peas but never grown my own – I can only imagine how much more special planting and seeing them grow yourself must be! It's such paddling pool weather isn't it? I may have nearly melted today.
Hope you are enjoying the summer hols so far – thanks for joining in again xxx
