Photo challenge 23 – Something old

January 23rd 2013
Prompt – Something old
List of promptsΒ I’m working from this month πŸ™‚
I’m hoping I’m not going to upset the super wonderful husband with this photo; the prompt is something old and this teddy was bought for him when he was a baby so it’s as old as he is!
He’s wearing the scarf because his little neck is a bit delicate and the scarf helps him keep his head up!
The girls love him and sometimes get him down to play with but they know they have to be gentle with him πŸ™‚

It wasn't until after I took the photo that I realised he was next to the old books…his home is right there on the book shelf which is obviously the perfect place for him πŸ™‚

I love your photo. I still have my teddy bear, he has pride of place on my bed, along with a 'Best Mummy' teddy that Dot bought me.

    1. shelllouise 31st January 2013 at 3:52 pm

Awww I love things with Best Mummy on! I look forward to Mother's Day because they always buy me something, be it a keyring, fridge magnet etc saying Best Mummy πŸ™‚

    1. shelllouise 31st January 2013 at 3:50 pm

His stuffing has done well to last the years; his fur….not so much!

  8. Susan 27th January 2013 at 11:41 am

He is a very beautiful bear and clearly has had a lot of love over the years. My bear sits on top of the wardrobe in our bedroom, well out of reach of my very heavy-handed toddler!

    1. shelllouise 31st January 2013 at 8:42 am

The girls are quite gentle now but it wasn't always the case and ted had to be put out of the way when they were younger!

  13. fivegoblogging 26th January 2013 at 10:42 pm

My teddy and Percy the Penguin and the husband's teddy/panda are proudly displayed on my daughters shelves. She is very protective of them.
