Prompt - Morning
List of prompts I'm working from this month :)
I think today must have been the coldest day of the winter so far. We had a very mild Christmas and New Year and I think this is the first proper frost I've seen, and what a frost it was!
I've got a post with some more photos showing the wonderful frosty spikes that have covered everything in the garden.

ooo I love the spikes they create a very unusual sight
ReplyDeleteI can't remember seeing frost quite like this before. I was out there for ages taking photos!
DeleteWow that is an impressive photo! It certainly has been chilly this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks :) We don't usually put the heating on here, we just put more clothes on but this week we've had it on everyday!
DeleteThat is such a striking image! The frost looks incredible. I've been after a great frost shot but we just don't seem to get it thick enough here.
ReplyDeleteWe don't usually get it that thick here. I'm trying not think of the plants that might be getting damaged by it because it's just so pretty!

DeleteThat looks so sweet and slightly eery at the same time ...as if she's been left on her own for a bit. Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks; she's my favourite fairy in the garden but I agree, she does have an eerie look about her!
DeleteWow! I have never seen anything like that before. Too close to the sea where I am.

I'd love to live near the sea. Hopefully one day :)
DeleteThose frosty spikes definitely add character to that statue!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I was *almost* sad when the snow covered the frost spikes!
DeleteLoving the spikes especially the one on her eye.
ReplyDeleteThe more I look at it, the more it seems like she's in a frosty prison and the spikes are slowly going to make their way over her whole body!
DeleteOhh lovely and frosty but is actually reminding me of doc who when all the statues came to life when you weren't looking at them! that doesn't happen does it?!...
ReplyDeleteNot to my knowledge and it best not either because those statue episodes are the only ones that really scared me!! lol

DeleteI've seen so many photographs of beautiful frost in gardens but despite the snow we've had, it completely eludes us. That's a fabulous photograph, the clarity on the crystals is fabulous.
