167 / 365 Paper Dolls

I spent hours playing with paper dolls when I was younger. You don’t see them very often these days; I was really pleased to see KayCee getting excited about a paper doll for her to cut out of the free Lego magazine she receives every few months.

She started to cut them out but asked me to take over because she didn’t want to ruin them.
I told her how much I used to love playing with paper dolls when I was little and how I’d had a book full of them for Christmas one year.
She asked for a tub to keep all the bits in and included a ball of blu-tac because she doesn’t like how the clothes fall off if you move the doll!

As I was cutting her doll out, I remembered some paper dolls I’d got about 5-6 years ago when I was a member of PC Crafter.
As a member we got new graphics every month, including a set of paper dolls. I went searching and was delighted to find I still had them all.

When they started printing, I got KayCee to fetch the sheets from the printer and the look on her face was priceless! She loves the angels I’d printed out and when she gets home school, I’ll show her the others I’ve printed.
It’s going to take ages to cut them all out because I’ve had to print two sets of each; Ella would be very upset if she didn’t have some to play with as well!

Today’s 365 photo

I love that my girls are going to be spending time playing with something that kept me amused for long periods of time 🙂

I remmber having paper dolls, completely forgot about that until now. I must get some for my daughter when she's a bit older, (she'd just eat them at the moment) x
